Once upon a time, Cathy's friend asked her to do something she didn't want to do.... Look after her composting worms while she went on holiday. Cathy couldn't wriggle out of this request (sorry) and this year, she celebrates 20 years of the worm business that came about because of this request.

I wanted to interview Cathy because I love talking to people on unusual paths. I love stories of people who create unusual businesses, and Cathy is an unusual lady, in an unusual space!

For many people, Cathy's job is probably the stuff of nightmares, but Cathy's passion for her 'wrigglers' is evident, and considering her original thoughts on them, a real call for us to consider our tendency to fix ourselves on our likes and dislikes, without interrogating them.

Cathy never intended to run a worm business, but she saw a problem and she saw a solution, and like a true entrepreneur, she put them together.

20 years, and many thousands of workshops, and perhaps millions of worms later, Cathy is celebrating the 20th anniversary of her business, and she's inviting you to join her in her other passion, for a free laughter yoga session - 30 minutes of super fun, self care. As a Laughter Yoga Teacher Cathy incorporate brain gym, tapping and other healing modalities. Laughter goes with everything.
