Episode #44 - Surviving to Scaling, with Special Guest, Jan Cavelle.

Today's guest started her business as a means of survival, and successfully scaled it into 7 figures. Hear about the ups and downs in this episode.

You know, I have to say, I wasn't really sure what to expect from a conversation with Jan Cavelle. But this warm, down-to-earth woman really won me over as soon as we started talking.

Jan's been through the mill, both personally and professionally. She built a hugely successful business the old-school way, before the online revolution made it possible to scale virtually.

So for those of you old enough to remember, this will be a reminder of the good old days, when the hottest piece of tech you owned was a fax machine.

For those of you too young to remember fax machines.... Well, try to imagine pushing a sheet of paper through a photocopier, so someone could get a rubbish copy of it somewhere else. Honestly... You couldn't make it up.

Anyway, Jan's now in semi-retirement, but her love for entrepreneurship, combined with a passion for writing, has led her to become an author. Not unlike the method followed by the venerable Napoleon Hill, Jan has interviewed and distilled wisdom from a group of successful entrepreneurs for the book. You can find out more about it, and download a free chapter here.

Check out the episode while you're at it, and be inspired by Jan's strength and determination.
